CALIFORNIA SENATOR GIL CEDILLO VOICES HIS SUPPORT FOR DRIVERS LICENSES FOR ALL RESIDENTS ON AZTECA AMERICA 'S "ISSUES: CARAS Y VOCES"

Los Angeles, April 2, 2008 – Azteca America, the fastest-growing Hispanic television network in the United States, is proud to have featured California State Senator Gilbert Cedillo on this week's broadcast of “Issues: Caras y Voces” (Issues: Faces and Voices), hosted by veteran Latino journalist Armando Guzmán.

Gilbert Cedillo was elected as State Senator from California 's 22nd District in November 2002. Prior to his election to the Senate, Gilbert Cedillo served as Assemblyman of California's 46th District (1998-2002).  His legislative efforts have showed a strong commitment to improving the day-to-day lives of the people he represents.

Senator Cedillo is one of the few lawmakers in the nation who openly supports the right for all residents to obtain drivers licenses, regardless of immigration status.
